Technical characteristics
Pipes for protection of metal jet of corundum-graphite composition are manufactured as per innovative procedure on the basis of powders of molten corundum of different fractions, graphite and special additives increasing thermal shock resistance and wear resistance of products.Pipes for protection of metal jet of ТКGU grade to provide defined durability of product have intensified composition of slag belt.
All pipes for protection of metal jet are subject to nondestructive testing at X-ray apparatus Artikon-305 for the purpose of hidden defects detection (internal cracks, flaws, foreign inclusions, etc.).
Outside surface of pipes for protection of metal jets is coated with high quality porcelain enamel, which provides overall protection against burning-out of graphite in products at high temperatures during operation.
Pipes of ТКG and ТКGU grades do not require preheating before starting of operation.
Manufacture of pipes for protection of metal jet with argon flow in the point of pipe and nozzle-collector connection both by customer’s drawings and manufacturer’s designs is possible.
