On March 29-30, 2012, the 7th International conference of refractory workers and metallurgists took place in Moscow, in Russian Academy of Public Administration under the jurisdiction of the President of Russian Federation. The given conference run by the decision of Scientific and Technical Refractory Products Council under the jurisdiction of the International Metallurgist Union was held in the memory of Kolpakov S.V., the president of International Metallurgist Union.
It is traditionally that the specialists of JSC “BKO” and LLC “TD “BKO” took part in the conference.
Soskovets O.N. (Association of Financial Industrial Groups of Russia) and Akselrod L.M. (LLC “Magnezit” Group”) opened the conference. Then the reports of representatives of the following enterprises and companies were heard: LLC “Magnezit” Group”, JSC “Dinur”, “Almatis GmbH”, JSC “Magnitogorsky metallurgichesky kombinat”, JSC “Chelyabinsk Metallurgical Plant”, LLC “Keralit”, LLC “Bruker”, LLC «RKHI-VOSTOK”, JSC “Seversky Tube Works”, “Vesuvius GmbH”, “Cofermin Rohstoffe GmbH”, association of producers and consumers of refractory products “St. Petersburg Research and Development Centre”, LLC “Kerneos”, LLC “Calderys”, CJSC “Bakor Research and Development Centre”, etc.
JSC “BKO” presented two reports on the conference: “Development of new types of products and integrated study of the refractory materials” (the reporter – Skurikhin V.V.) and “From manufacture of products to engineering services” (the reporter – Bulin V.V.). The reports aroused keen interest among the conference participants.
In the breaks of the conference and welcome reception on the opening of the conference, negotiations with representatives of steel and refractory companies took place (LLC “EVRAZ HOLDING”, JSC “ChMK”, LLC “Severstal”, JSC “TMZ”, JSC “Seversky Tube Works”, JSC “Rosmetallkomplekt”, LLC “Calderys”, LLC “Kerneos” and others) about expansion of deliveries of the refractory products manufactured by JSC “BKO” and prospects for cooperation.
